One Game a Week

(Edited on God of War III's comment and Strange Journey's comment)

Miles Edgeworth Ace Attorney Investigations
Released: February 16
Pre-ordered at Amazon.com
Done playing, traded-in for Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey
I am a fan of Ace Attorney series, and I love problem-and-case solving

Comments: I love this game very much, and it is more accessible and less dragging than the series before. I always love the Ace Attorney series, and this one is no exception. Interesting new characters, and also old characters make a comeback. The only things that didn't feel like enough is that the challenge is relatively easy, but it is still satisfying.

Heavy Rain
February 23
Bought at Gamestop store
Finished several times, and on the way to achieve all the trophies
I'd like to try a story-driven game, plus it is a PS3 exclusive

Comments: This game will be one of the most memorable game in term of story. This game delivers a very deep and emotionally involving experience. You are the one who will be driving the story, and your every choices will determine the outcome, like a wave that spreads through a pool of water. There are some plot holes, but it can be forgiven.

Battlefield Bad Company 2
March 2
Bought at Gamestop store
On hiatus due to Final Fantasy XIII
Just wanted to try another first-person shooter other than Modern Warfare 2

Comments: Still haven't played much, but this game is definitely for multi-player. So don't buy it if you only want to play single player campaign.

Final Fantasy XIII
March 9
Pre-ordered at Gamestop, traded-in with two games for lower price
Still playing, only halfway through
No need for reasons, I know I NEED this game

Comments: If you ever played Final Fantasy series, you know why you would want this game. As most western reviewers said, this game is very linear until later part of the game, but it didn't stopped me from buying. I am enjoying every last bit of it, from the great scenery to the engaging and intuitive battle system.

God of War III
March 16
Pre-ordered at Gamestop store, traded with two games for lower price
Just received it
Guys who don't love God of War are gays

Comments: I played both of the earlier series, but it doesn't satisfy me that much. Hope this will be the best and memorable. Zainal has been making his way through the game and he enjoying it like a kid who received a new toy, except that this toy is for real guys, not gays.

Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey
March 23
Pre-0rdered at Gamestop store, traded-in with Miles Edgeworth Ace Attorneyy Investigations
Still waiting
I'm fan of RPG, and Shin Megami Tensei series

Comments: I am always a fan of RPG and Shin Megami Tensei series is rivaling with Final Fantasy series for the top in my list. I just realized that it will come with a soundtrack CD and a poster! Now I am eager to wait~(More comments in the future)

I know it sounds crazy, but I just can't help it. Luckily, spring break is coming and in April, there are no games that caught my interest :)

A Little Debate About Love and Commitment

A week after thanksgiving, we had a group discussion about Islam. To make it short, suddenly it become a debate of my commitments toward someone. Yes, it is about love. These are the questions, and my answer: If you guys love each other, why don't you just be in relationship? If we are in love, doesn't mean we MUST be in love. Being in relationship doesn't give any assurance that you are going to get married to each other. Most of my friends that are in relationship often ended up in failure, though a few (like one out of 50) still manage to maintain for 3-4 years. If you are ready to be in relationship, then you must be ready to get married. You give your commitment, attention and time for your partner, isn't it the same as married couple?* I never say being is relationship is wrong, but people who in relationship is the trouble. We always want the good thing (getting attention, sharing our love, etc) but always avoid the hard part (our responsibilities, commitment, et...
