The Games For My PS3~

I'm not listing all of the game that I have in my house, but these are all the games that I bought :D
Enjoy~

My Comments/Notes

Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots
5/5
4.5/5
The game that I waited for so long to play! I have played all four main series of the game (MGS, MGS2 and MGS3), so I definitely don't want to miss this one :D
This game is really amazing for its...well almost everything! It is very detailed, best graphic, new ideas on the gameplay, and its difficulty.
The only thing that I disappointed is the boss fight; in my opinion, there should be more intense boss fights just like the previous MGS (especially MGS3). But that doesn't stop this game from being the best.
This game has high replay value, but only for those who love to unlock everything and have the will to fight all the way through the Big Boss difficulty (hardest difficulty in MGS4). It's cool to fight again all the boss when you know the strategy, or find a new one.

Grand Theft Auto IV
4/5
4.5/5
The only reason that this game has lower rating than MGS4 is that I am not really into GTAIV. Don't get me wrong, this game is really great, but I'm not suitable to play this game since I love other genre more. If you ask others, than you will have the ratings that you want. Still, I would love to recommend this game to anyone who has the chance to play it, because it is just too damn nice for a game.

Resident Evil 5
(Thank you Mok for correcting me!)
4.5/5
3.5/5
Since the first Resident Evil series that I played was RE4, I really love this game. I never played the early generations of RE (1-3) simply because I don't like it :p
In my opinion, I love the new generation of RE (4 and 5) more than the older ones (1-3) because it just fits with me. Resident Evil hardcore fans will probably disappointed with game, especially if they expect this game to be the same as the older generations
Replaying this game is really fun in a way that you can kill the infected and bosses more easily since you have better upgraded weapons than your first walkthrough, using new weapons, finding the emblems, compete with other players online...etc..but there is all to it; nothing really new for replaying the game (but I play it again)

Devil May Cry 4
3/5
3/5
Okay, this game is a BIG disappointment to me. I have played all 4 series of DMC, and I put this one at the same level as DMC2. Why? The action is slow, you do more exploring than fighting, progression is slow...bla bla bla...DMC3 is waaaaaay much better. I guess the odd numbered DMCs are the best, so I hope that if DMC5 will be out in store, it will be much better than this!
The only thing you want to do to replay it is playing as Dante..and maybe use all the skills that you gained on the last part of the first walkthrough at the start of your next walkthrough...
Owh come on Capcom!

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
4.5/5
4/5
Okay, this game rocks! Everything that I expected to be in DMC4, are in this game. Fast-pace actions, intense killing, mash the button like crazy but with precision...this game is amazing!
This is the first time I play a Ninja Gaiden series (well, I played Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword on DS, but that doesn't count) and this game has give a good first impression. From what I read in Gamespot, the prequel to this game is better, but I just stick with this game~~
I played this game for three hours straight like crazy!

Singstar
4/5
5/5
The only reason I bought this game is so that when my friends come to my house, they all have something to do together. This game is great for party especially, or just want to release the tension that had been building up from Monday to Friday (we play this game on Friday night usually). There are quite a number of known songs, but most of it need to be bought at the PlayStation Store. Most of the songs provided are not really known to us Malaysians. But Britney's and Westlife's songs really make up for it :D

Guitar Hero World Tour
3.5/5
4/5
The first GH that offer a band play, and it kinda suck. The band play is not really appealing; one person make a mistake, and the whole band got the boos (and the song will end). The only two reasons I bought this game are to fill the Guitar Hero 5 with more songs (Yeah, I bought GH5 first) and it cannot be helped since it comes together with the Guitar Hero World Tour Bundle Set. But hey, the songs in this game are still acceptable.

Guitar Hero 5
4.5/5
5/5
Activision made a step towards the excellence of band play. While some might say that Rockband is better, I still love this game. The graphic got a lot better, as it is not cartoon-ish like the previous GH series. Owh I love this game! Just to let you know that I have all complete set of the band instrument (2 guitars, a drum and a mic), so this game is also act as the tension-breaker-machine, especially during weekends.
I played the guitar on expert, and hard for the drum~
You will be playing this game like nuts if you really want to put yourself at the top

I am still waiting for good RPG games to come out on PS3..like Final Fantasy XIII...Please don't disappoint me, Square Enix!

Okay I know, I promise that I concentrate more on study. I know my responsibilities, so don't worry. But please do remind me ;)

  1. personally, aku suke DMC4. dia takde la sehina DMC2. Aku rase dia bwh skit la dr DMC3 tp still best ape. Kau maen sampai dpt sume skill Nero baru kau rase syok. Nero ni bg aku kire deep gak sbb ade shot charging ngan excel meter. Dante best sbb variety of weapons dia. tp kalau kau kate game tu rase cam tak siap, aku setuju la. backtracking je dah half of the game.

other than that, i agree to your opinions. logical and non-bias.

  11. Lotsa Guitar hero i see.
I'm waiting for FFXIII too. The only reason I'm gonna buy a PS3 or XBox anyways.

But, you know, square enix likes to dissapoint people nowadays.
I'm quit disappoited with some of the newer games they made.

  13. I'm not truly disappointed with SE (Square Enix) since there are still some games that I like (Dissidia Final Fantasy, The World Ends With You and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days). Like some people suggested, SE should stay with Final Fantasy series since it's what they do best.

I still will be waiting for Final Fantasy XIII, despite the fact that I'm kinda disappointed with FFXII

Playing FFIX on my PSP is still great~

New College Life In UKM

After intentionally abandoning my blog for around 6 weeks, I think it's about time I write something about what is currently happening in my life.

Since the last time I updated, I haven't done anything much. I met some of my friends, and mostly spent my time with my families and explaining to every single one of them about "why" am I not returning to the States. Most of the them accept the fact easily and told me to be strong, work hard in the future and don't make the same mistake (which usually just simplified to "don't play games too much")

Because of What Someone Said

So a few days ago, I visited Borders Bookstore in IOI City Mall to get a book for a friend of mine. Incidentally, it is also my favorite bookstore, due to its quite nice selection of books and its location from my house. Anyway, the book that I wanted to buy was The End of Average by Todd Rose. I already finished that book (I want to write about it as well later), so I recommended it to my friend and she asked me to buy one for her. I had an exam on the day after but as far as I'm concerned, reading is more important than any exams that I will most likely forgot in a few weeks.

Also, each time I visit a bookstore, I will always walk out the store with at least one book. So, besides the book that I intended to buy, I bought two other books because I found it interesting. I know, it is a truly 'good' idea to buy two books when you have an exam tomorrow. In this post, I want to talk about the reason why I picked up one of the books.

Being Different Is Lonely

From our ages, I know that I am different from most of my classmates. Naturally, most of them are three years younger than me, but that is not the problem. In fact, I had the most fun surrounded by them. They don't treat me differently just because I'm older. I think I am blessed with the fact that there are others who are older than the average (those who were born in 1993) in the batch.
I think I am not as matured as someone of my age should. But then again, there's no guideline on how matured a person should be or how you to be a mature person. Though my guidelines are basically these two: when you can prioritize and you can be responsible towards your actions. I don't know if I have these two qualities, but I know I am working towards it, slowly but surely.
Anyway, being older doesn't make me automatically different from the others. But there are certain things that make me feel.. different, and sometimes isolated. Like at this moment of writing, I am overwhelm…
