Result.

Our results were out yesterday. So how was my result? Great. What were my feelings? I felt confused, unworthy, surprised, and guilty.

Besides Introduction to Insurance and Takaful, all other results were not what I have expected. But yes, it is what I want and hope to get. I already talked about what was my feelings during and after I checked my result on Facebook. To put it simply, I am grateful, even if I know being grateful is just not enough. There's no reason not to be happy.

I hope that I won't have much problems during the next semesters. If the problems are unavoidable, I hope that I will be given the strength to overcome them. I want to make sure that I attend every lectures, and do all the assignments. I want to prepare actively for exams, and help my friends and juniors too.

I just feel guilty because I only understand much of the materials when exams were near. Which means I didn't study early, and I didn't help others as much as I thought I should. But I can only thank Him and the lecturers for giving me more than what I think I deserved.

Since I already announced my result on Facebook, I won't be asking others about their results, unless they want to discuss about it.

Here's the overall result.

A Little Debate About Love and Commitment

A week after thanksgiving, we had a group discussion about Islam. To make it short, suddenly it become a debate of my commitments toward someone. Yes, it is about love. These are the questions, and my answer: If you guys love each other, why don't you just be in relationship? If we are in love, doesn't mean we MUST be in love. Being in relationship doesn't give any assurance that you are going to get married to each other. Most of my friends that are in relationship often ended up in failure, though a few (like one out of 50) still manage to maintain for 3-4 years. If you are ready to be in relationship, then you must be ready to get married. You give your commitment, attention and time for your partner, isn't it the same as married couple?* I never say being is relationship is wrong, but people who in relationship is the trouble. We always want the good thing (getting attention, sharing our love, etc) but always avoid the hard part (our responsibilities, commitment, et...
