Having Fun With Studying

Suddenly I had this thought that I really love studying. For now, it is specific to things that we learned in our syllabus. Yes, studying about those things that we learned in class is actually fun to me.

The first time I ever feel the joy of studying was during May 2012, when I stayed up the whole night studying for my final exams at library. I studied a chapter, redo the examples and a few exercises, then if I can answer most of the questions, I move on to the next chapter. I did that for every final paper, and somehow it clicked to me that I really love studying.

The whole three years at UW, I didn't study a lot. Mostly just playing games, taking my easy time there, and just relax. I didn't feel any responsibility or urge to study. I was so irresponsible back then.

I hope I won't lose this feeling and this chance to study anymore. I am thankful for this third change, and I wont let it go to waste. Some people might think that I'm too 'semangat' or eager, but in the end only I know myself, my reasons and my motivation. Not here to please anyone's opinion about me.

Will continue to be who I am even if I'm alone.

A Little Debate About Love and Commitment

A week after thanksgiving, we had a group discussion about Islam. To make it short, suddenly it become a debate of my commitments toward someone. Yes, it is about love. These are the questions, and my answer: If you guys love each other, why don't you just be in relationship? If we are in love, doesn't mean we MUST be in love. Being in relationship doesn't give any assurance that you are going to get married to each other. Most of my friends that are in relationship often ended up in failure, though a few (like one out of 50) still manage to maintain for 3-4 years. If you are ready to be in relationship, then you must be ready to get married. You give your commitment, attention and time for your partner, isn't it the same as married couple?* I never say being is relationship is wrong, but people who in relationship is the trouble. We always want the good thing (getting attention, sharing our love, etc) but always avoid the hard part (our responsibilities, commitment, et...
